The Six Flags theme park has a variety of ghosts. The theaters are haunted by a female phantom called Stella. A little ghost girl still enjoys the park's atmosphere. The service roads are haunted by The Pigman. The sightings are sometimes accompanied by the sound of squealing pigs.

A vaudeville performer nicknamed "George" haunts the Powell Symphony Hall. He wears a white suit and hat. The Sheldon Concert Hall is haunted by the spirit of the architect. At the Loretto-Hilton Theater, the ghost of a technician saved the life of a man who nearly fell from a catwalk. A playful little girl haunts the Webster Groves Theater Guild. She is said to be frightened of the spirit of an elderly woman that haunts the basement.

Rose Hill has a sweet and helpful ghost, unembittered by her tragic death. It is said that a woman, perhaps called Rose, was murdered when her car stalled on the hill and rolled to the bottom. Sprinkle flour on your trunk, and put a rose on it, and then drive up the hill. Afterwards, it is said, you will find that the rose is gone. Not only that, you will see Rose's handprints in the flour, showing how she helped to push your car up the hill.

The Lemp Mansion, now a Bed and Breakfast establishment, has a variety of hauntings. Hopefully, the invisible ghost who sits on your lap is the shade of a beautiful but forward woman.

The Book House is haunted by a little girl called Valerie who fell into a well. At Edgewood Children's Center, a little girl floats near a tree in the garden.

Ghostly lights appear in a defunct residence hall at St. Louis University. The old City Hospital has closed, but a number of spirits have not left. At the St. Louis Job Corps, a spectre is sometimes seen, and sometimes jumps on beds and even on people. Our Lady of Sorrows is also haunted.

The woods in Lynstone Park are haunted by naked female phantoms. I do not know why they are nude, but many scraps of clothing lie about the park. Perhaps they are ghostly hippies, who cast off their clothes to commune with nature.
